2024. március 10-én, vasárnap (magyar idő szerint 11-én, hétfőn) kerül megrendezésre a 96. Oscar-gála. Ebből az apropóból nevezte most meg az Amerikai Filmművészeti és Filmtudományi Akadémia a rangos díjátadó 10 kategóriájának shortlistjét, azaz „az Oscar-jelölésre jelölteket”. Az Oscar-jelölési időszak egyébként január 11-16. között lesz, és a hivatalos jelölteket majd csak január 23-án nevezik meg. Nekünk, magyaroknak órási öröm, hogy az idei év olyan blockbusterei, mint a Barbie, az Oppenheimer és a Megfojtott virágok mellé felkerült a shortlsitre a legjobb animációs rövidfilmek kategóriájában Buda Flóra animációs rövidfilmje, a 27 is!

A francia pénzből készült kisfilm korábban már nyerte egy rövidfilmes Arany Pálma-díjat Cannesban, utána pedig a Szarajevói Filmfesztivál rangos trófeáját is elhozhatta, így szakmai berkekbenegyértelmú volt, hogy „egyenes út vezet az Oscar-jelölésig”.
