Jencarlos Canela – Biography

A true example of what signifies talent and professionalism is the rising artistic career of the young singer and actor Jencarlos Canela, who with only 20 years of age has carried out more than 80 successful international concerts in countries such as Canada, Mexico, Dominican Republic and The United States.

This charismatic artist was named in 2006 as the young image of "Voice for Children"; a nationally recognized institution that helps abused children, Jencarlos is always willing to collaborate with this type of causes. Proof of this is his constant participation as a singer in several events in recent years organized by The League Against Cancer in the United States.

Jencarlos initiated his artistic career at a very early age as a child model, and in school plays. Not to mention all the opportunities that he took in family gatherings; where he performed songs that were the delight of young and old.

At the age of 12 Jencarlos enters professionally in the world of music as the lead singer of the group "Boom Boom Pop". After two years of successful participation with the group he decides to start his solo career in late 2002. The next 5 years have been filled with learning and unforgettable experiences for Jencarlos, who has carried his music to the stages of important international events such as the "Miss World 2004 and 2005" beauty pageants, "The Latin Fiesta Festival" in Toronto Canada, and "The CALLE OCHO Festival" in Miami, among others.

In spite of this, this talented artist never neglected his studies of music and acting in one of the most prestigious schools of art in the U.S., "The New World School of the Arts", where in May of 2006 he graduated with honors.

His impeccable youthful image captured the attention of important multinational companies, such as the prestigious auto maker Ford, who chose him as model and singer for its "Ride it Like a Ford" ad campaign. This commercial was transmitted on television in the U.S. and became one of the most popular of its kind. Increasing considerably sales for Ford, this clearly demonstrates the commercial impact Jencarlos’ image has, lending his image and voice to several ad campaigns for The Univision Network.

Thanks to his indisputable charisma and talent, recognized musical producer Rudy Pérez put his efforts to produce Jencarlos first album, which is being produced at his studio in Miami Beach. This ambitious project offers the possibility of being produced in various languages, since Jencarlos has performed songs in English, Italian, German and Portuguese.

One of the most important moments in the career of this young singer and actor was when he received the Invitation of Telemundo / NBC Network to take his first starring role of its new soap opera "Pecados Ajenos", where besides performing the main theme of the show, he plays "Alfredo Torres" Affectionate, noble, good son and good brother. In this his first soap opera Jencarlos shares credits with figures of the size of Mauricio Islas, Lorena Rojas, and Lupita Ferrer, among others.

The city of Miami Beach chose Jencarlos to be the image and voice for the "City of the Sun" 25/7 campaign it has the objective to showcase to the world all the places that the city has to offer, which is the home of this young up and coming international talent.

Likewise Jencarlos debuted as the teather actor in the musical "Miami Free", a story that narrates the dreams of a young Cuban that arrives in Miami with the intentions of being singer, but for that to happen he will have to conquer a series of obstacles that make this work a true example of persevearance. In "Miami Libre", Jencarlos not only acted, but also performed songs, and showed his dancing abilities. The play was performed in both English and Spanish.

This young Cuban-American is capturing the attention of international mass media who have featured him in several magazine covers and feature inteviews and articles, In 2008 Jencarlos was the winner of People en Español.com Most Sexiest Man Poll, competing with figures as Ricky Martin, Eduardo Yañez, Pablo Montero, among others.

Without a doubt 2008 was a year of awards for Jencarlos, he was awarded with the Premio sin Limite by the city of New York, in the Best young actor category and the and best performer for a Soap Opera theme both for the "Pecados Ajenos Soap Opera. He also received the Premio Estrella in the US for Best Young Actor, and the prestigious Premio Fama for the same category.

at the end of 2008 Jencarlos wrapped up filming of his first feature film titled "Hunted by Night" which will be released in 2009.

For all this, Jencarlos Canela is a name that without a doubt is already is generating a lot of buzz on a worldwide scale, and we are sure that he will continue delighting and conquering the public thanks to his humble nature, talent and indisputable charisma.

2009 Karácsonyán volt a Hunted by Night c. elsõ filmjének a premiere Miamiban.

A Más sabe el Diablo forgatásának befejeztével koncert-körutat szervezett, aminek elsõ állomása 2010 január 30-án - Miami Beach, azt követõen New York-ban lép fel, és megy tovább... :)

A történet ESPERANZA SALVADOR és MARTÍN ACERO románcával kezdõdik az Acero-házban, ahol Esperanza cselédként dolgozik a keresztanyjával együtt. Rajta kívül senkije sincs a világon. Fiatal, szép és ártatlan, Martínnak sem okoz gondot, hogy becsapja õt azzal, hogy szereti. A lány teherbe esik, de Martín anyja kötelezi rá, hogy vetesse el a gyereket. Elviszi az orvoshoz, és kifizeti az abortuszt. A lány megszökik a kórházból, s miután megtudja, hogy Martín New Yorkba ment tanulni, minden vágya az Egyesült Államokba utazni hozzá. Martínéknál megismerkedik egy vendéggel, aki a ház úrnõjének a barátnõje, és Miamiban lakik. A nõ elcsábítja magához, fizeti az utazást, Esperanza kapva kap az alkalmon. Miután kiderül a terhessége, a nõ elveszi az útlevelét, és megtagadja a bérét is tõle. Esperanza magához vesz némi pénzt, visszaszerzi az útlevelét, és irány New York, hogy rátaláljon a szerelmére, Martínra...

Manhattanba érve az utcán kirabolják, és egy fillér, illetve iratok nélkül marad. Szülési fájdalmak törnek rá, és egy metróállomáson, Sandro Beltrán segítségével megszüli kisfiát, akit ÁNGEL-nek (Angyal) nevez el.

Gyorsan repül az idõ, már el is telt 23 esztendõ, és egy börtönben találkozunk ÁNGEL SALVADOR-ral, aki DIABLO néven híresült el. Rablásért ítélték el, már letöltött másfél évet, amikor közlik vele, hogy a kirendelt ügyvédje várja õt, aki nem más, mint MANUELA DÁVILA... Summa-summárum, Manuela kihozza a börtönbõl, mert hisz benne, hogy Ángel mindent megbánt, s ahogy ígérte neki, új, becsületes életet kezd. Ángelt különös érzések kerítik hatalmába, benne még soha senki sem hitt, és most Manuela-nak köszönhetõen elhatározza, hogy megváltozik.

Így történik meg, hogy még a szabadulása napjának estéjén megszervez egy nagy ékszerrablást a Hierro-nak... Az ékszerek egy bemutatóteremben vannak, Manuela édesanyja szervezte jótékonysági estélyen.

Ángel hihetetlen szervezõképességgel rendelkezik, nélküle nincs sikeres rablás a bandában. Felszolgálóként belülrõl, mikrofonon irányítja a kint várakozó bandatagokat... amikor hirtelen meglátja Manuela-t... majd belép a terembe 2 nyomozó: Jimmy és Mike ellenõrizni, hogy minden rendben van-e...

A rablás sikeresen végzõdik, de az egyik bandatag: Gregorio lelõ egy rendõrt, aki történetesen Jimmy Cardona édesapja...

A két Dávila lány, Ángel és Jimmy sorsa ettõl a pillanattól kezdve gyökeresen megváltozik egy életre.
