OK, first a bit of forewarning: if you hate Cameron or think that she should be viewed as a machine and nothing else, you're not going to like this thread. However, for everyone else, I started this thread as a means to discuss an idea that I've been kind of fascinated with for a while, and that is the mother / daughter relationship dynamic between Sarah and Cameron.

I know that as of late Cameron and Sarah's relationship has been, at best, very negative-- she has championed for her destruction more than once, and even told Cameron that she considered killing her while her back was turned, and overall make her feel unwanted. However, we don't know how much of this is genuine hatred of Cameron and her kind, and how much of it is merely Sarah's personal defense mecanisms, so with that in mind I hope you'll be willing to entertain a rather WAFFy idea I've been toying with for a while.

Basically, when I first saw "Allison from Palmdale," one of the most heartwrenching moments for me was when Cameron (believing herself to be Allison) realized that she didn't have a mother. It was so sad, that only moments later, I started thinking-- what if Sarah became a mother-figure to Cameron? It's quite common for women who only have boys to secretly wish they had a daughter too, so maybe it would be good for Sarah if she started being nicer to Cameron, and making her feel more like a part of the family?

I would argue that Cameron is just as in need of a mother as John is, although having one is unfortunately not something that being a machine typically makes accommodation for. The ultimate WAFF for me would be if some day Sarah would actually let Cameron refer to her as "mom," but for now, I'd settle for her just not plotting to get rid of her every other episode. So, am I the only one who on some strange level wishes that Sarah would "adopt" Cameron?

Hát... Cam-cica (borzalmas) zenei ízlését figyelembe véve, akár tetszhetne is neki. De gyakorlati értelme az nincs. Plusz kirívó. Bár.. "az a feltûnõ, ami nem feltûnõ" alapján gondolkodva... ;)
