Tell us about the spy thriller you’re working on, it’s called Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. What’s it about and when might it be released?

Well Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is possibly the most famous spy novel ever written. It’s written by the inventor of the entire genre John Le Carré. John Le Carré, whose real name is David, actually invented words that we now use. The word “mole,” for example, in reference to spies was never used before John Le Carré. He uses that in Tinker Tailor--the first time it’s used and in all of his great spy novels he invents language. This is perhaps the greatest spy novel of all time. They did it for television with Alec Guiness in 1979 as a five or six hour a superb British television movie. John Le Carré is going to be 80 next year and we were very fortunate to get the rights from him and very fortunate to assemble real “A” list cast, Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy. We were also very fortunate to find the huge amount of money we needed to make the film. We’re in post-production. We’ve been invited to open the Venice Film Festival. We’ll be releasing in the UK probably in September. Then we’ll probably release in America in October or November. All of these things will be decided in the next two weeks but I would think that we have a very serious Oscar contender for next year. I’m so serious about that, when I was there shooting, I actually bought a new tuxedo that requires me to lose 20 pounds to fit into it properly.

Remélem, most már jól lesztek mindannyian. Én megúsztam a telet, talán most már a tavaszt is túlélem.
A fórum még mindig megvan, csak senki nem ír bele.
Remélem, hogy még lesz baba, és persze kislány. Manapság már nem olyan nagy extra 50-esen is bevállalni. De ez majd idõvel elválik.
Garyt mindig jó büszke apukaként hallani/olvasni :-)

Szia, susurrus! Azért olvasni olvasok. Hol a gyerekek voltak betegek, hol én. De remélem, a jó idõvel már helyre jövünk.
A honlapra azóta nem nagyon járok, mióta nincs fórum, és inkább itt dumcsizunk. Gratula egyébként, hogy már 5 éve csinálod kitartóan! Le a kalappal!
Szégyellem a pofám, de még mindig nem néztem meg a hosszú videót Garyvel. Pedig eltettem kedvencbe, de a fiam mindig kitúr, ráadásul gondok voltak/vannak a géppel. Legújabb a "kékhalál" szindróma. :( Azért elõbb-utóbb oda jutok.
Nem is igaz, hogy Gary már ennyi idõs! Várom, lesz-e még baba. :)
