Our Addictions is a preventive improvised performance about addictions which focuses on raising questions and looking at situations from several different perspectives instead of judging or didactically indoctrinating messages. We perform scenes about deficiencies, desires, and stress relief in an interactive way. This complex program consists of improvisational theater, group work, and sharing professional and personal stories.
We believe, improvisational theater is a great way to establish connection and communicate with young audiences and encourage them to share their thoughts. By talking honestly and openly about addictions and not considering them as taboos, these performances encourage the audience to do the same, to feel free to turn to a teacher or a professional for help.
